Feet...
Jefferson waller is not your typical on-a-quest, drawing-for-food,
traveling artist. Waller is the midst of a cross - country tour
to create the world's longest continuous drawing, sketching out
two - foot long segments of whatever inspires him on his travels.
The drawing is entitled "Finding Nevermore" and
the traveling project is as much about creating a work of art as
it is an inner journey to find out where he belongs. <read

Long Center for the Performing Arts, even though it ought to, since
it's real long. Jefferson Waller, a long-haired hippy artist and
vagabond who uses the word "dude" as if its 1969, is drawing
on paper what he says will be the longest continuos drawing in the
world done by a single individual. <read

Jefferson Waller's opus stretches over
five years and 500 feet. "Everybody says you've got to look
at the big picture," says Waller, unfolding his epic in the
backyard of his mother's house off Bragg Boulevard. "This
is the big picture." Since 2000, Waller, 46, has been traveling
the country and drawing what he sees on 18x12 inch pieces of poser
paper. His journey has taken him from the Florida Keys to Bangor,
Maine; from the bright lights of Las Vegas to the dusty towns of
